Omiokun Books is an independent book publishing company based in South Florida that provides a platform for voices empowering underrepresented communities - particularly people of color.
We publish about 3-5 books each year, which allows us to focus our love and energy on each of our titles.

In the first annual Indigo Ink contest, Omiokun Books will award $1,000 for an unpublished novel about Black culture, communities, experiences or people. Omiokun Books is looking for innovative and powerful storytelling. The prize is open to new and emerging authors. The winner of this contest will receive book publication, a $1,000 cash award, and 15 copies of the book.
The Indigo Ink contest is open to novels only.
